David N. Sparks

David N. Sparks - dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend of many – unexpectedly passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 42 in Granbury, Texas.

David was born to David and Carla Sparks in Monahans, Texas, on March 7, 1980. On April 12, 2018, David married Jessica Hosking in Las Vegas, Nevada.

David worked in the oil field for many years, and everyone who knew him knew he was a hard worker. Through the years David enjoyed fishing, racing, and spending time with his family. David was a Baptist by faith. David had a big heart and would always smile with a smile that could light up the room even with his crooked teeth. He made people laugh at any chance he could. Anyone who knew him loved him so deeply, even if they had their rough patches.

David is survived by his wife, Jessica Sparks; His mother, Carla Sparks; Children, Tanner Sparks, Adam Sparks, Zechariah Sparks, Keythan Sparks, Matthew Hosking-Casagranda, Jasmine Drop, Laurel Drop, Annabelle Drop, and Paislee Dyer; His sister Jessica Sample and her husband, Jayson; Other loved ones include his uncle, Doug Harbin, ex-wife, Leslee Sparks, and niece, Skylah Finley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, David Charles Sparks, his brothers Kristopher “Bubba” Sparks and Zechariah Casagranda, and nephew, Kaisen Lyle Sparks.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Lingleville East Cemetery.

Pallbearers consists of Tanner Sparks, Adam Sparks, Matthew Casagranda, Zechariah Sparks, Keythan Sparks, and Jayson Sample.
