Dennis Edward Cunningham

A graveside service for Dennis Edward Cunningham, 70, retired carpenter, will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday September 24, 2022, at Old Dallas Cemetery in Mena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home in Stephenville, Texas.

Dennis was born in Bakersfield, California on July 27, 1952, to Paul and Dorothy Cunningham.

Dennis is a veteran of the United States Army and fought in Vietnam.

Dennis is survived by his siblings; brother, Phil Cunningham and wife JLynn of Hot Springs, Arkansas, sister, Barbara Cunningham of Texarkana, Texas, and sister, Sara Holliday and husband Rick of Mena, Arkansas; his former wife and mother of his children, Margaret Carpenter of Hamilton, Texas, and stepson, Andy Miller of Stephenville, Texas. Dennis had nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, also several nephews and great nephews, and nieces and great nieces he was loved greatly by. He had numerous family and friends in Texas and Arkansas. Dennis is preceded in death by his mother and father, his son Dennis Eric Cunningham and Timothy Wayne Cunningham both of Stephenville, Texas and nephew Matt Cunningham of Mena, Arkansas.
