Graveside services for Derrick Wayne Robbins will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Post Oak Cemetery with Werth Mayes officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Derrick passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, in Euless, Texas. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Derrick was born in Cleburne, Texas, on June 6, 1986, to parents, Melinda Denise Keith and DeWayne Robbins. Derrick accepted the Lord, Jesus Christ, as his personal savior at the age of 14. Derrick graduated from Stephenville High School in 2004. He then attended Lincoln Tech in Glendale, Arizona, graduating in 2009. Per his wishes, Derrick gave the gift of life and hope through organ donation.
Derrick loved working with his hands and fixing things, working as a motorcycle mechanic and technician. He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed riding every chance he got. In his spare time, Derrick also enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, and fishing. He also loved to bowl. But most of all, Derrick cherished spending time making memories with his family and friends. He will be missed by many who were blessed to know him.
Survivors include his mother, Melinda Keith and husband, Michael of Stephenville, Texas; father, DeWayne Robbins of Stephenville, Texas; maternal grandmother, Barbara Ahern of Cypress, Texas; siblings, Christy Lewis and husband, Robert of Saginaw, Texas; Sommer Davis and husband, Brent of Brock, Texas; and Mason Keith of Abilene, Texas; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
