Obituary
Donnie Gene Marine, 87, passed away April 26, 2023. Her service will be May 1, at Mt. Marion Cemetery in Strawn, TX, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Diane Gardner officiating.
Donnie was born in Stephenville, TX, on June 27, 1935, to Dave Tarver and Clemie Marie Tolbert. She married Donald Gene Marine on January 15, 1951, in Stephenville, TX. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2019. Donnie was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Marine Lopez & husband Paul, Lopez, Jr., her grandchildren, Donald Gates Lopez, Sydney Marine Lopez, Cristal Marine Chiles, Travis Andrew Marine, and Cory Don Marine, her sister Sue Webb, and her six great grandchildren. Donnie was preceded in death by her husband Donald Gene Marine and her son Gary Don Marine.
Donnie was a devout Christian, and she was looking forward to being with her Lord and Savior. She loved her family with all of her heart and always lived her life thinking of others and what she could do for them. Donnie had an inner peace that kept her beautiful and strong. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and will forever be in their hearts.
