Elsie Mae (Cole) Tolley

Services for Elsie Mae Tolley, 97, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, with Dr. Ken May officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M.– 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Lacy Funeral Home.

Elsie was born in Ranger, Texas on August 15, 1923 to Irving, and Florence (Tyree) Cole. She married Elva Russell Tolley on July 19, 1961, in Stephenville, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 19, 1999.

Elsie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville and she was an Eastern Star member since 1942 where she served as a Worthy Matron. Elsie loved spending time with her friends and quilting.

Elsie is survived by three nieces, Cassandra Wilson, Colleen Chronister, Brenda Satoe; five great nephews; one great niece; eleven great great nieces and nephews; her care giver, Ginger Jones; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Cole, and his wife, “Red”; and a nephew, James Cole.
