Stephenville - Services for Eric Sean Sears, 44, PTO and Driveline Specialist, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ryan officiating. Burial will follow at Pony Creek Cemetery.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M.Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home.
 
Eric was born in Dallas, TX on June 28, 1977, to Cloudy Kay Sears. He was raised by his grandparents, Mercedes “Mercy” and Clyde Sears.  
 
Eric was a member of the Lingleville Baptist Church.
 
Eric is survived by his ex wife Alexsandria Wood and their 2 children, Aaliyaha “Niycole”Moncrief, and Sean Alexander Sears; granddaughter Gabriella Serenity-Hope Moncrief; His 3 step children, Victor Martinez, Desiree Woods, and Christine Daniels from his first wife, Tressa; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, too many to list but they know who they are. 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mercedes “Mercy” and Clyde Sears; his brother, Juan Anthony Sears; “Grandmother” of his first wife, Tressa; and his first wife, Tressa Talamantez Sears.
