Erma Lou Atkins

Erma Lou Atkins, 93, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, in Stephenville, Texas. A funeral service for Erma will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Her burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory in Erath county. A visitation for Erma will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel.

Erma was born in Oklahoma on October 6, 1931, to her parents W.M. Windle and Viola Windle. She married Bonner Joe Atkins on March 6, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri. He proceeded her in death on November 1, 2015. Erma was a homemaker; she enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Rocky Point Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Atkins of Stephenville, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bonner Joe Atkins; her daughter, Susan Jeanette Wood; and her parents.
