Evelyn Laverne (Harris) Blanks

A Graveside service for Evelyn Laverne Blanks, 91, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2021, at Oak Dale Cemetery with Frank Briscoe officiating.

Laverne was born in Coleman, Texas on March 28, 1930, to James and Bessie Harris. She married Robert Henry “R.H.” Blanks on March 4, 1950, in Abilene, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2006.

Laverne was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Stephenville until she moved to Weatherford.

Laverne is survived by 3 daughters, Becky, Renee, and Benita; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.H. Blanks and daughter, Anita Blanks.
