Freddie Wesley Massingill passed away on July 7, 2021.

Fred was born in Hamilton County, Texas on December 16, 1936, to Albert and Bertha (Boling) Massingill. 

Fred was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin, Texas.

Fred is survived by his children, Tommie Necessary, and husband Keith, of Jonesboro, Texas, Scott Massingill, and wife Faith, of Hamilton, Texas, and Crystal Massingill, of Hamilton, Texas; life partner, Lela Couch, of Carlton, Texas; stepchildren, Michelle Eddleman, of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Miranda Jensen, of Lake Jackson, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and siblings, Blane Massingill, of Comanche, Texas, and Elaine Massingill Heald, of Hillsboro, Texas.

Freddie was always a dear friend to my mom, Bert, and her siblings. I grew up calling him Uncle Freddie and was fortunate to spend quality time with him for many years. He was a positive influence in my life. I am very sorry for your loss.  Sincerely,  Shayla Clark
