Gabriel Ramos, Jr.

Gabriel Ramos, Jr. passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 69 years old. The family will receive friends to celebrate Gabriel’s life on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Gabriel was born in Laredo, Texas, on May 12, 1955, to Gabriel Ramos, Sr. and Leonor Castañeda. He married Maria Guadalupe Ramos in Stephenville, Texas.

Gabriel was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Stephenville, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time, Gabriel had a fun-loving nature as he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and being outside. He also enjoyed playing foosball, poker, shooting pool and throwing darts. Gabriel was also a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He truly will be missed by many.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Guadalupe Ramos; five children, Brenda Ramos, Gabriel Ramos III and wife, Priscilla, Marion Ramos and husband, Fabio Huerta, and Christina Aguilar and husband, Abiel; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 4 siblings; and many cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel Ramos, Sr. and Leonor Montoya; brother, Joe Ramos, son-in-law, Ruben Garay; and his beloved dog, Buster.
