Gary Calvin Shelton

Services for Gary Calvin Shelton, 66, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Kohr officiating. Burial will follow at East Memorial Cemetery.

Gary was born in Hico, Texas on April 7, 1954 to Ewell, and Claudie (Fisher) Shelton. 

Gary is survived by his children, Jodie Baker, and husband, Shaun, of Stephenville, TX, Tasha Garrett, and husband, Steven, of Stephenville, TX; grandchildren, Sarah, Kaitlyn (Katie), and Ian (Little Man); siblings, Ewellene Hammon, of Gorman, TX, Bill Shelton, and wife, Judy, of Cleburne, TX, and Margie Winton, of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was a great father, but he was born to be a Pawpaw. He loved spending time with his grandkids fishing, camping, cooking out, and having fun. He was always ready for a conversation with anyone and he always had a smile for everyone. Gary was a good ole country boy, a hard worker and he would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back.
