Genelle (Bolding) Carpenter

Services for Genelle Carpenter, 88, retired math teacher, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, 8/13/2020, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Stephenville.

 Genelle was born in Boswell, Oklahoma, to James and Amy (Ward) Bolding. She married Roy Carpenter on December 17, 1950, in Slaton, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2015.

 Genelle is survived by her children, Rebecca Caldwell, and husband, Jerry of Stephenville, TX, Denise Bearden, and husband, Eddie of McKinney, TX, David Carpenter, and wife, Joni of Granbury, TX, Daniel Carpenter, and wife, Janice of Charlotte, NC, and Melanie Murff, and husband, George of Georgetown, TX; grandchildren, Pamela Kang, and husband, Andrew, Jeremy Caldwell, and wife, Heather, Jonathan Caldwell, and wife, Bethany, Toby Bearden, and wife Ashley, Nathan Bearden, and wife Leslie, Whitney Alsup, and husband Jay, Nicole Baker, and husband, Zachry, Kristen Duncan, and husband Aaron, Rachel and Bradley Carpenter, and Leah, Athena, Eric, and Bill Murff; 15 great grandchildren; brother, JT Bolding Jr., and wife Barbara; and sister, Rebecca Greer.
