Geraldine Addison

Services for Geraldine “Nonnie” Addison, 79, who died Saturday, July 15, 2023, will be held at
10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Holliday, Texas, with
Brother Darryl Sewell officiating. Burial will follow at Holliday Cemetery. Visitation will be
held from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2023, at Lacy Funeral Home in Stephenville, Texas.
Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas.

Geraldine was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, on August 26, 1943, to Lawton Cottrell and
Edna Anna Stevens Cottrell. She married her high school sweetheart Edward Leon Addison on
October 14, 1961, in Holliday, Texas. They were married 47 years. He preceded her in death on
March 21, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Angie Latimer on April 16,
2015.

Geraldine was affectionately known as Nonnie by all of those who loved her. She was a beloved
Mother, Grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and she
was an avid reader. She loved telling anyone who would listen about her granddaughters and
great grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally. She endlessly doted on them, never missed
an opportunity to encourage, and she made sure they knew she loved them “a bushel and a peck
and a hug around the neck.” She spent the last years of her life at Stephenville Nursing and
Rehabilitation making new friends, participating in activities, and getting to know and love the
staff. She brought so much light and laughter to the lives of anyone she met. She was a member
of the First Baptist Church in Holliday, Texas and spent much of her time reading God’s word.

Survivors include daughter Kim Robertson and husband Brit Robertson of Stephenville, Texas as
well as her son-in-law Keith Latimer, of Holliday, Texas. Her granddaughter Radeanne Rhodes
and husband Adam, granddaughter Cortney Fanning, and granddaughter Baley Troutman. Her
great grandchildren include Addison Fanning, Zachary Rhodes, Charlee Rhodes, Jett Fanning,
Jackson Troutman, and Lawton Troutman.

The family of Geraldine are grateful to the staff at Stephenville Nursing and Rehabilitation for
loving Nonnie and providing exceptional care.
