Glenda Kay Carter

Graveside Services for Glenda Kay Carter, 74, Alcohol and Drug Counselor, who died on Saturday, November 26, 2022, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Brittny Messer officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Glenda was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on January 16, 1948, to Calvin Green and Mary Ruth (Henderson) Haney. She married Calvert T. Carter on December 23, 1966, in Grants, New Mexico.

Survivors include her husband, C. T. Carter of Stephenville, Texas; daughter, Melissa Whitt and husband, Curtis, of Stephenville, Texas; granddaughter, Brittny Messer and husband, Andrew, of Roanoke, Texas; and her brother, Larry Haney of Dallas, Texas.
