Glynn “Red” Lawson

Glynn “Red” Lawson of Stephenville, 78, passed away on November 27, 2023. His wishes were to be cremated without a service.

Red was born in Stephenville on January 12, 1945, to parents James and Goldia Lawson.  He married Karen Rains on July 5, 1968, in Stephenville. Together, they share one child.

Red was a lifelong resident of Stephenville, Texas. He worked hard with his hands, making his trade as a mechanic. Although Red’s knowledge of automotive repair was of mastery level, it was his enjoyment of his work that set him apart.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Lawson of Stephenville; son, Dustin Lawson, Sr. and wife, Angela of Stephenville; five grandchildren, Jade Little; Dustin Lawson, Jr., Cora Lawson; Greg Chivers, Jr., and Gunner Lawson; and one sister, Betty Jean Cook of Pampa.
