Henry Lee Carter

Henry Lee, Carter, 74 of Stephenville, Texas passed away on December 14, 2025, with his loving family Surrounding him in his home in Stephenville Texas.

Services for Henry Lee Carter will be held at the Lacy Funeral Chapel, Saturday, December 20, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Johnny Hart Officiating. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, from 6-8 P.M at Lacy Funeral Home.

.He was born to TG and Margie Carter on February 17, 1951, in Stephenville, Texas.  He married Kandice Rose (Simpson) Carter on November 30. 1977 after only 2 weeks of meeting.  The true love of his life, and they enjoyed 48 wonderful years of marriage.

He was a true man of God and mentor to his children and Grandchildren in the word and his life. He was raised in the Grants, New Mexico where he worked in the Uranium Mines. Then moved to Stephenville. He worked in the Dairy Industry Building and Servicing the dairies. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator.

He is Survived by his wife Kandice; his children Serena Brock a husband Ryan, Geyneece Lowe Cloyd Husband Rob, Amanda Jones and husband Joshua, Daniel Carter and wife Heather all of Stephenville; Grandchildren, James Strickland, Cealynnda Walker, Maheyla Walker, Wyatt Lowe, Justin Lowe, Bryson Jones, Preston Jones, Carter Jones, Marley Carter, and Amos Carter; Brother Calvert T Carter and many nieces and nephews.

He was Preceded in death by his sister Carolyn and her husband Chuck Clark.
