Howard Lewis Phillips

Memorial services for Howard Lewis Phillips, Sr., 74, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Charles Jones officiating.  Family requests that everyone attending the Memorial Service, please wear a mask.

Howard was born in Stephenville, TX on November 25, 1946 to Ernest and Odell (Bentley) Phillips. He married JoAnn Lawson on April 28, 1972, in Los Angeles, CA.

Howard was a member of St. John Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Howard is survived by his Wife, JoAnn Phillips; 4 Children, Merce Dixon, and Husband, Jonathan of Pearland, TX, Yolanda Chandler, and Husband, Reginald of Aurora, IL, Sarina Willis, and Husband, Anthony of Katy, TX, Howard Phillips, Jr., and Wife Debra of Stephenville, TX; 8 Grandchildren, Devin King, D’Ante Phillips, Zane Luna, Hailey Brothers, Brittney Brothers, Tamia Phillips, Earnest Swindell, III, Bryson Chandler; 3 Great-Grandchildren, JaMier Carey, Aaliyah King, Avery King; and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ernest and Odell Phillips, a Granddaughter, Mallory Carey, and a Grandson, AJ King.
