Jack Allen Lawson

A Graveside Service for Jack A. Lawson, 86, Machinist, will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Huckabay Cemetery with Mike Hannah officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Jack was born in Mingus, Texas, on March 3, 1933, to James Elbert Lawson and Golda (Lane) Lawson. He married Kathy (Dowell) Lawson on June 2, 1981, in Stephenville, Texas.

Jack was a Baptist by faith. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and past member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lawson of Stephenville; son, Randy Lawson and wife Vana; daughter, Darla Lawson and wife, Debbie Michaud; two grandchildren, Trevor Lawson and Teagan Lawson; brothers, Glenn Lawson and wife, Karen, and Jerry Lawson; and a sister, Betty Jean Cook and husband, Stanley.

Jack was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Dean Lawson and Doyle Lawson and a sister, Oleta Musick.
