Jack Ramsey

Jesse “Jack” Doyle Ramsey Jr. died peacefully October 23, 2023, at the family home in Stephenville, Texas. He was 82 years old. 

Jack was born April 10, 1941, in Glen Rose, Texas, to the late Jesse Doyle Ramsey, Sr.,

and Mildred Garner. He married Patricia “Pat” Lee McDonald, on September 19, 1959,

in Seminole, Texas. Jack and Pat were parents to four children; Jay who passed away

in 1982, Lisa Ramsey, Sheri Ramsey, and Mike Ramsey.

Jack was proud of his Treeing Walker coon hounds. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and

spending time outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his

great-grandchildren. 

Jack spent his whole life working in the oilfield, on and off shore. He truly loved his

work and all the people he met as a result. He traveled the world with his work, and

always said his life was blessed as a result. He was a member of the

Calvary Baptist Church.

Jack is survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
