Janice Lynette Reed

Janice Lynette Reed, 71, passed away on May 16, 2025, in Hico, Texas. Services for Janice will be held at a later date.

Janice was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on August 24, 1953, to her father Edward Dee Reed and mother Jewel Dean (Woods) Reed. She was a telephone operator, and attended the Church of Christ. She loved gardening and tending to her roses, knitting, online shopping, cooking and making new recipes, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Reed of Stephenville, Texas; two nieces, Emily Ahshapanek and Martha Reed-Carrion; nephew, Matthew Reed-Carrion; great niece, Isabella Reed-Carrion; and brother-in-law, Rainbow Carrion.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Reed, Carolyn Sue Reed, and Mary Reed-Carrion.
