Janus "Don" Ramsey

Services for Janus Don Ramsey, 86, retired Construction Inspector for the Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00-10:00 AM at Lacy Funeral Home.

Don was born in Cleburne, Texas, on January 9, 1935, to Charley John and Bessie Olena (Hankins) Ramsey. He married Patsy Jeanene White on November 26, 1953, in Cleburne, Texas.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Lake Pat Sams RV club where he served as President for several years, and the Studebaker Driving Club.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Ramsey of Stephenville, Texas; sons, Michael Don Ramsey and wife, Denise, of Quinlan, Texas, Cris Alan Ramsey and wife, Donna, of Allen, Texas, and Bret Eugene Ramsey of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Allen and wife, Erin, of Allen, Texas, Matthew Allen of Dallas, Texas, Angela Symes and husband, Neil, of Seattle, Washington, Kristina Dawes and husband, Jarrod, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shawn Ramsey and wife, Danielle, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Erik Ramsey of Quinlan, Texas, Kyle Ramsey of Richardson, Texas, and Chelsea Ramsey of Austin, Texas; 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Paula Innis of Fort Worth, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Francis Louise Underwood and Lula Bell Ramsey.
