Jean Moon

Services for Jean Moon, 91, homemaker, will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, April 18, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Russell White officiating. Burial will follow at the Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Jean was born in Gorman, Texas, on November 26, 1933, to Willie Earl and Lorena Ruth (Seay) Dennis. She married Willis Moon, Jr., April 5, 1957, in Stephenville, Texas.

She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved serving the Lord and her community, gardening, canning, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Willis Moon, Jr., of Stephenville, Texas; children, Sid Moon and wife, Ginny Corpus, of Stephenville, Texas, and Deborah Dianne Baker and husband Russell of Seminole, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Joshua Baker and wife, Sue, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jeff Baker of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Angelina Baker of Seminole, Oklahoma; brother, Bob Dennis of Lovington, New Mexico; sister, Laverne Brillhart of De Leon, Texas; nephew, Rodney Dennis; and several nieces.
