Jessie Joyce (Lawrence) Sanders

Jessie Joyce Sanders passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024, in Dublin, Texas. She was 80 years of age. Her wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Jessie was born in Taylor, Texas on March 11, 1944, to Ray Burke Lawrence and Florence (Hearn) Lawrence. She married Everett Sanders in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death.

Jessie was a member of Lingleville Baptist Church. She dedicated her time making a home for her family and enjoyed sewing and baking bread. Joyce was also known for her love of horses. In her spare time she also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include her children, Kelly Maddox and husband, Jeff of Lingleville, Texas; Jamie Hope and husband, Paul of Austin, Texas; Melissa Machacek of Wichita Falls, Texas; Deborah Andrus and husband, Ray of Hitchcock, Texas; and Aaron Sanders and wife, Angee of Warner Robins, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, and sibling, Audrey Pepau of Kerrville, Texas.

Preceded in death by daughter, Rachel Machacek; and grandson, Zack Casagranda.
