Jim “Eagle” Cynowski, 67, passed away May 9, 2023. His service will be May 12, 2023, at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville, Tx, at 2:00 P.M., with Mike Hannah officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 10:00 A.M. through 12:00 P.M.
Eagle was born in Stuttgart, Germany on December 15, 1955, to Richard and Anna Cynowski. He married Betty Nichols on December 15, 1996, in Stephenville, Tx. Eagle is a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Betty Cynowski, his children, Misty Griffin and Kim Nichols, his sisters, Michaela Ann Huddleston and Margaret Ann Marcinik, and his grandchildren, Hollis Cole Jr., Gaylen Griffin, Riley Griffin, James Brooks, and Derek Perkins. Eagle was preceded in death by his parent, Richard Andreas Cynowski and Anna Korzel Cynowski, and his brother Richard Andrew Cynowski.
The family appreciates Lonestar Rehabilitation and Wellness Center as well as Alpha Omega Hospice for caring for Eagle in his last days.
