Services for Jimmy Dee Evans, 71, lifelong cowboy, will be announced at a later date.
Jim was born in Lubbock County, Texas on July 5, 1950, to the late, Walter and Mary (Doyle) Evans. He married Frankie Ethel Stone on June 27, 1973, and henceforth, were known as “Jim and Frankie.”
Jim was a member of the Erath County Cowboy Church. He previously worked at Lubbock Feed Yard and Hereford Feed Yard. He also was a lineman, retired from Southwestern Bell. He has always been a Farrier.
Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frankie Evans; children, Paul Ray Trolinder and wife Jeanie of Monticello, Arkansas, Michael Rand Trolinder and wife Debbie of St. Cloud, Florida, Felinda Paige Ellis and husband Kent of Canyon Lake, Texas, Cathy Michelle Bunch and husband Kevin of Hereford, Texas, Jason Wade Trolinder and wife Lisa of Wimberley, Texas; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Edward Eugene Evans and wife Connie of Sierra Vista, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Darrell “Butch” Trolinder.
