Born on Saturday, February 4, 1961 at Tachikawa AFB, Tachikawa-Shi, Japan to William (Bill) Eugene Sobkowiak and Johnnie Vernon (Geeslin) Sobkowiak
1961 - Moved to Andrew AFB, in Washington DC; where Bill was an aircraft mechanic on Air Force One for President John F. Kennedy
Jun 1970 – The family was transferred to North Highlands, CA
July 1985 – John received his GED in Makakilo, (Oahu) Hawaii
Nov 1986 – John enlisted in the US Army in Des Moines, Iowa
Stationed at Dulmen Depot, in Dulmen, Germany near Munich
During the time he was in the Army he received:

John Passed away on September 15, 2018 at the age of 57 in Sacramento, CA

John loved to cook, play the drums, piano and organ, write music and poems, and draw.
John was a friendly, fun loving, helpful person who was always Smiling.
