We are sad to announce the passing of Johnny Dee Davis. Johnny was born in Hico, Texas on March 11, 1954, to Robert and Mary Catherine (Connell) Davis. He married Linda Lorraine Reed on, October 12, 1973, in Stephenville, Texas. Johnny was an electrician by trade, but he had many titles: Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Paw Paw, Friend, Golfer, Hunter, etc. Johnny was always willing to help anyone, and that servant spirit will be well received in Heaven. Johnny passed away surrounded by his loved ones after fighting a long battle with illness.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Davis: 3 children, Jason Davis, Lacey (Davis) Brewer and her husband Cody, and Tasha Davis; 10 grandchildren, Alissa, Logan, Jacob, Jaxon, Kason, Kaden, Reichen, Rhys, Aiden, and Ainsley; and 5 siblings, Jeanne Floyd and her husband Jimmy, Jan Davis, Chris Davis and his wife Penny, Connie Wood and her husband Jim, and Dixie Selgrath and her husband Gary.
Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm, Friday, October 7th, at Lacy Funeral Home. Johnny’s Celebration of Life service will be at Lacy Funeral Home at 2pm on Saturday, October 8th, where Pastor Dittfurth will be officiating.
