Obituary
Joyce “Mamaw” (Parton) Wyly-Stewart, 76, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. She will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Joyce was born in Meridian, Texas on April 13, 1945, to the late, Emmett “Buck” and Juanita Parton. She grew up in Glen Rose, Texas on Rough Creek Ranch and spent most of her life in the dairy business. September 30, 2020, she married Tommy Stewart in Stephenville. Joyce enjoyed all sports but especially the Dallas Mavericks. Her grandkids were the light of her life and she made sure she taught them all about the Bible and God’s word at a very early age. She was a member of Selden Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Tommy Stewart of Granbury; son Randy Wyly and wife Sherry of Stephenville; daughter Cindy Allen and husband Jeremy of Bennington, OK; grandchildren Cody Griffin and wife Erika of Gordon; Mandi Daniels and husband Travis of Stephenville; Brianna Lawrence of Durant, OK; Dustin Lawrence of Stephenville, James Lawrence and wife Kaitlyn of Stephenville; Madison Wyly of Lubbock and Mason Wyly of Stephenville; great-grandchildren Samantha Wishon, Addison Griffin, Lucas Wishon, Kaden Wishon, Camden Griffin, Kinsley Lawrence, Jayci Daniels, Kamryn Lawrence and Harper Lawrence.
She is preceded in death by her brother Harold Parton, sister Louise Wuemling and great-granddaughter Katelynn Wishon.
