Kathleen “Mickey” Bottcher

Kathleen “Mickey” Bottcher, 81, entered into her eternal rest on December 28, 2023. Her wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Mickey was born in Beacon, New York, on January 31, 1942, to Richard Thomas Colbert and Pauline Margaret Staniewiz.  She married Frederick James Bottcher on October 19, 1983, in Stephenville, Texas.

Mickey was a member of the Life Church in Stephenville, Texas. In her spare time she enjoyed her hobbies of gardening and canning fresh foods. Mickey had a true servants heart and thoroughly enjoyed serving in any capacity she could for her church. Most of all, she loved her family.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Bottcher of Stephenville, Texas; children, Terri Bottcher of Stephenville, Texas; Debbie Ketcham and partner, Mike Blount of Stephenville, Texas; Billy Bottcher; Kim Bottcher Malone and husband, Marc of Georgia; and Jennifer Bottcher Bass of Florida; grandchildren, Chris; Josh; April; Greg; Nicole; Dustin; Megan; Gabrielle; Cheyenne; Nathan; Destinee; Tyler; Bethany; Tabitha; Brittany and Taylor; several great and great-great grandchildren.                      

She was preceded by her daughter, Kimmie Jones.
