LaWanna Chaney

A private graveside service for LaWanna Chaney, 87, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Alexander Cemetery with Carey Chaney officiating.

LaWanna was born in Alexander, Texas on August 8, 1935, to TC and Marie (Mitchell) Chaney. 

LaWanna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville. She loved to read and her favorite color was blue.

LaWanna is survived by her sister, Dianna Locke; nieces and nephews, Carey Chaney and wife Debbie, Bart Chaney and wife Andrea, Gena Porter, Kevin Locke and wife Dawn, and Denise Locke. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Chaney and his wife, Fannie Chaney, brother-in-law, Gerry Locke, and nephew, Chris Locke.
