Laura Gene (Snow) Rock

Laura Gene Rock, daughter of Robert H. and Eula Snow, was born on March 15, 1933, in Weatherford, Texas. She had four brothers, Ada Joe Snow, Robert Lee Snow, Raymond Edwin Snow, and Ronald Andrew Snow who all are deceased. She also had five sisters, Sybil Irene Snow McFarland, Ethel Nancy Snow Wolfe, Eula Madge Snow Anderson, Armalda Snow Matney, and Mildren Sona Snow. All are deceased but Eula Anderson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Karl Ryan Rock. She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Wiles and Susan Henry (Jeff). Her sons are Franklin Shug Evans (Saralinda) and Kenneth Shone Evans (Kristi). The daughter of her heart is SueAnne Sears. Laura has 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She worked in the bookkeeping field and was the first police woman in Stephenville. She enjoyed painting, golf, and playing dominoes with her friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stephenville.

Visitation will be at 10 am, Friday, June 9, 2023, immediately followed by the service at 11 am at Lacy Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2:30 pm, at Dobbs Valley Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
