Lavern (Grissom) Warren

Graveside Services for Lavern Warren, 96, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Santo North Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Lavern was born in Gordon, Texas, on August 26, 1923, to Stewart and Laura (Burkett) Grissom. She married Roy Warren in Erath County on April 20, 1940. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1979.

Lavern was a member of Santo Church of Christ. She loved to cook and was an avid gardener.

Lavern is survived by her children, Gale Warren and wife, Linda, of Stephenville, Texas, and Pamela Kay Warren of Arkansas; 5 grandchildren, David Gale Warren of Stephenville, Texas, Laura Nicole Warren of Arlington, Texas, Mija Trammell and husband, Robert, of Hudson, Ohio, Homer Nelson of Tolar, Texas, and Milah Warren- Pack and husband, Brannon, of Arkansas; and great-grandchildren, Josh and Jenna Trammell, and Charli Jo Pack.
