Leonard Ray Barefield

Leonard Ray Barefield, 80, passed away at his home in Lubbock, Texas on June 1, 2025. Visitation will be held at the House of Angels Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the City of Lubbock Cemetery on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11 a.m.

Leonard was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on November 13, 1944, to his father David Crockett Barefield and mother Maybelle (Barnes) Barefield. He enjoyed traveling, watching old western movies on tv, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys when they play football. He also enjoyed hanging out with his girlfriend Kristie, and going out to eat with his roommates.

Leonard is survived by his beloved Rock House family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Maybelle Barefield
