Leslie "Les" Herald Zimmerman

Leslie “Les” Zimmerman, 69, of Hico, TX passed Friday, November 11th, 2022, surrounded by family. Born August 21, 1953, in Topeka, KS, to HW “Bud” and Vivian Patterson Zimmerman. He attended Dover High School and graduated from Kansas State University. Les was a local Businessman, District Executive for the Boy Scouts, Handyman, and many more things to numerous people.

Loving Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend, Les is survived by his wife, Lori of Hico; sons, Zac Zimmerman and wife, Lesleigh, of The Woodlands, TX, Zane Zimmerman of Cleburne, TX, Jeremy Salois and wife, Lacey, of Bandera, TX and Allen Salois of Hasse, TX; daughter, Amber Lewis of Stephenville, TX; sister, Judy Shumate of Topeka, KS; sister, Linda Beach and husband, Ronnie, of Topeka, KS; brother, John Zimmerman of Topeka, KS; sisters Lois Headley and husband, Terry, of Kansas City, MO; 4 grandsons; 3 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; and countless friends. Les never met a stranger, found the good in everyone he met, and will be missed by many.

A Memorial Service celebrating Les’s life will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 15th, at the Grace Bible Fellowship Church of Hico. In lieu of Flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Grace Bible Fellowship New Building Fund.
