Lonnie Jearl Payne

Lonnie Jearl Payne, 75, of Cisco, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 23rd. Lonnie was born on July 6, 1950, in Cisco, Texas, to Annie Viola Payne and Melvin B. Payne.

Lonnie dedicated much of his life to serving others as a Police Officer and later as a Bail Bondsman. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, hunting, watching football, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Garland Payne, Larry Payne, and Ronnie Payne. Lonnie is survived by his children: daughters Loni Nicole Taylor, Tana Marie McFarland, Crystal Dawn Payne, and son Matthew Benjamin Payne, along with several beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Jessie Wright and brothers Wesley Payne, Vernon Payne, and Rex Payne.

A celebration of life will be held this upcoming spring, with the date to be announced in the coming weeks.
