Lynda Sue (Malloy) Henderson

Sue Henderson passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday August 17, 2020. There will be a memorial service for her on Saturday August 22, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at Harvey Baptist Church with Pastor Svajda officiating.

 Sue was born in Mountain View, Arkansas on March 24, 1949 to Charles and Thelma Gilbrech. She married Terry Henderson on December 16, 1967 in California.

 Sue was a member of Harvey Baptist Church where she taught Team Kids, AWANAS, Vacation Bible School, and assisted with Sunday school classes. She cooked and served meals for the College Ministry, served on the Hospitality Team, and delivered Meals on Wheels. Sue enjoyed serving others and spent many years of her life working as a caregiver to the elderly and individuals with special needs. She also enjoyed reading, watching old westerns and playing Candy Crush. However, Sue’s first love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who call her “Nana”.

 Sue is survived by her husband, Terry Henderson; her children Terry (Melody) Henderson Jr., Tonya (Michael) Beard, and Anita (Tylor) Chaplin; brothers Mel (Tish) Malloy, Charles Gilbrech; sisters Shirley Malloy Lundy, and Teresa (Dean) Norris; grandchildren Coltin (Shanae) Beard, Shannon Newheart, Dustin (Brooke) Henderson, Alexa Chaplin and Cate Chaplin; great-grandchildren Sophia, Hunter, Ophelia, Kenley, Jaycee, and Cotyleon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
