Mandy (Gonzales) Kurzeja

Services for Meghan Amanda (Mandy) Kurzeja, 39, of Stephenville, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Randy Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. prior to the service on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Mandy was born in Stephenville, Texas, on August 6, 1984 to parents Antonio C. Gonzales and Mary Lanell Wood.  She married Fred Kurzeja on February 14, 2013, in Stephenville, Texas.

Mandy was a member of the Stephenville Primitive Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her strong faith, and for meeting every obstacle with a smile.

Mandy is survived by her husband, Fred Kurzeja; mother, Lanell Gonzales and husband, Dawell Criswell; grandmother, Ann Wood; sister, Elizabeth Reeves and husband, James; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mandy was preceded in death in 2017 by her father, Tony Gonzales.
