Maria Concepcion (Torres) Olvera

A Memorial Service for Maria Concepcion Olvera, 69, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at West End Cemetery.

Maria was born in Puente Negro, Coahuila, Mexico on December 20, 1951 to Antonio Guadalupe Torres, and Maria De La Luz Ibarra. She married Carlos Olvera on July 12, 2002 in Stephenville, Texas

Maria was a Catholic by faith. She enjoyed watching her novellas on TV, talking on the phone, lottery tickets, and playing slot machines. She always dreamed of living in a cold, and beautiful environment where there were mountains.

Maria is survived by her Husband, Carlos Olvera; 5 Children, Norma Garcia, and husband, Eligio of Omaha, Nebraska, Hortencia Mendez, and husband, Lionisio of Stephenville, TX, Antonio Contreras, of Stephenville, TX, Arturo Contreras, and wife Lisa of Stephenville, TX, Sandra Palacio, and husband, Mario of Stephenville, TX; 20 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Estella Gonzalez, and Maria Cole; Uncle, Jose Torres; 17 Nieces and Nephews and many Cousins.

Maria is preceded in death by her Parents, Antonio Guadalupe Torres, Maria De La Luz Ibarra; Son, Samuel Contreras; and Sister, Maria De Los Angeles Guajardo.
