Mario Alberto (Sr.) Trevino

Mario Alberto Trevino, Sr., passed away on February 28, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 69. He will be cremated without a service. Visitation will be held for Mario from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Mario was born in Brownsville, Texas, on March 30, 1954, to parents Antonio S. Trevino and Maria (Garcia) Trevino.

Mario was a member of the Catholic church. Although he was medically retired, Mario was proud of his prior work as a machinist for FMC. In his spare time, Mario enjoyed watching a variety of shows on television and never turned down a chance to watch a movie. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Melissa T. Mays and husband, Jess of San Angelo, Texas; Mario Trevino, Jr. of Stephenville, Texas; Ernesto J. Trevino of Stephenville, Texas; and David E. Trevino of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren, Mia L. Mays, and Mina D. Mays, both of San Angelo, Texas; and siblings, Yolanda Lachacz of Utah; Tony Trevino of Oklahoma; and Victor Trevino of Texas. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gloria Trevino and Mary Clemmons.
