Marjie Ann Weems

Marjie Ann Weems, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A funeral service for Marjie will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Fitch officiating. Her burial will follow at Pecan Cemetery in Dublin, TX. A visitation for Marjie will be held one hour prior to her service at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Marjie was born in Vernon, Texas on August 3, 1948, to her parents John James Jokel and Pauline (Richter) Jokel. Marjie was a homemaker; she loved spending time with her family and was known for having a helping, kind heart. Marjie was a huge Elvis fan, but most importantly she loved her chickens dearly.

She is survived by her children, Robert Glenn Weems and Teresca Diane Weems; Brothers, Donnie Jokel and wife Amy, Frank Jokel and wife Davonna Leslie, and Charles Jokel and wife Wendy; Grandchildren, Derek and Colby Weems; and sister in-law, Sandra Jokel.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Jokel, and her parents.
