Mary Catherine Woodrum

Services for Mary Catherine Woodrum, 75, homemaker, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Greens Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Mary was born in Georgetown, Texas, on May 17, 1944, to Alvie Lee and Lela Faye (Hamilton) Williams. She married Marvin J. Woodrum on March 8, 1963, in Belton, Texas.

She was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County. She loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. She doted on her grandchildren all the time.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin J. Woodrum; her children, Tracie Bratton and husband, Kenneth, Randy Woodrum and wife, Susan, and Stacie Croft and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Addyson Green and husband, Jade, Kendyl Croft, Benton Woodrum, Brock Woodrum and wife, Nicole, Ryan Bratton, Garrett Bratton and wife, Rachel, and Danny Croft; her great-grandson, Leighton Green; her sister, Judy Beach; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janice Hankins.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
