Mercedes Stermolle

Services for Mercedes Stermolle, age 72, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home with Werth Mayes officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Mercedes was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 10, 1952, to parents Elmer Fitzsimmons and Mercedes Cutler. She married Lynn Stermolle on September 19, 1986, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mercedes was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked as a food service manager. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Lynn Stermolle; four children, Tom Glenn, Joe Glenn, Melissa Martinez, and Greg Stermolle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers, Mark Fitzsimmons and Pat Fitzsimmons.
