Mike Brown

A Celebration of Life for Mike Brown, 73, a professional calf roper and carpenter, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating.

Mike was born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, on December 5, 1950, to Gordon M. and Beth (Neel) Brown. He married Rhonda Lou Hibler on March 9, 1974, in Bertram, Texas.

He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a member of the PRCA, and was a member of the Tarleton State Rodeo Team when he attended TSU. Mike loved rodeoing, calf roping, and spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Brown, of Dublin, Texas; children, Carrie Harris and husband, Joe, of Jarrell, Texas, and Todd Brown and wife, Bri, of Lamar, Colorado; grandchildren, Caden Massoletti and wife, Madie, Treston Brown, Branton Brown, and Bexley Brown; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
