Nancy Coleman (Cosby) Whittemore

Nancy was born in 1946 in Fort Worth to Lowell W (Bud) Cosby and Blanche (Nita) Cosby. Along with her older brothers, they made their home at 4201 Ave J. Nancy attended Polytechnic High School and Texas Women’s University. She eventually joined the US Postal Service in Fort Worth where she met her husband, Kenneth. In 1978, they moved to his hometown of Munday, TX, where they lived on family land west of town.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Lowell W (Bud) Cosby and Blanche (Nita) Cosby and brothers Robert and Jim Cosby. Husband, Kenneth Whittemore and beloved cat Stormy.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan and favorite son in law, Jody Stone of Stephenville, TX. Her beloved granddaughters Shelbey Pudlowski and husband Adam of Frisco, TX. Kenly Abila and husband Aaron of Hasse, TX.

 Whenever you swing a golf club, sip a Diet Dr Pepper or eat a Butterfinger, think of Nancy. These were a few of her favorite things. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter in memory of Nancy’s love for animals.
