Opal (Robinson) Phillips

Services for Opal Phillips, 94, retired Registered Nurse, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Nancy Smith Cemetery.

Opal was born on November 21, 1926 in Glass, Texas to Jim and Dora Robinson. She married James Phillips. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1996.

Opal was a member of the Church of Christ. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

Opal is survived by her children, Steve and Rhonda Phillips, of Hawkins, TX, and Christie Nelson, of Euless, TX; and grandchildren, Ashley Nelson, of Austin, TX, and Stephanie and Cody Malin, of Rockwall, TX;  honorary granddaughter, Wendy Elkins; and great grandson, Ferris Flanders.
