Obituary
Services for Patsy Jean Hicks, 85, who died on July, 4, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 7, at Huckabay Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 6, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Patsy was born in Stephenville, Texas on August 15, 1937 to Carl and Elise Chapman. She married Clinton Earl Hicks on September 28, 1956, in Erath County. He preceded her in death on their anniversary in 1991.
Patsy loved all things outdoors and spending time with her family. She struggled with Alzheimer’s for many years so please, in lieu of flowers, donate to any kind of Alzheimer’s program/research.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Perry and husband William of Kilgore, TX, and Debra Houston and husband James of Stephenville, TX, her son, Kelvin Hicks and wife Paula of Stephenville, TX, her sister Shirley York, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Luther Wayne Hicks, her husband, her parents, and eight siblings.
