Patti Jo Christian

Services for Patti Jo Christian, 68, retired nurse, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Stephen Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Patti was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on June 14, 1954, to Joseph and Walterine (Ellis) Meacham. She was a 1972 graduate of Arlington Heights High School. She graduated from the Stephenville Hospital Nursing Program as a LVN in 1978. She worked for over 20 years as a nurse in various cities across Texas. She married Joe W. Christian on August 3, 1991, in Stephenville, Texas. Together, they continued to enjoy her passion for travel, rescuing animals, cooking, and reading until her health declined.

She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Joe W. Christian; children, Heather Anderson, Jessica Hallman, Will Christian, and Sarah Bolt; grandchildren, Caleb Anderson, Sydney Bollum, Jaci Hallman, Jenna Hallman, Adaline Bolt, and Alana Brod; great-grandchild, Maya Ordonez; and sister Walterine Bavousett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Walterine Meacham.
