Paula Kay Aardal

 May 7, 1953 – February 17, 2022

Stephenville - Services for Paula Aardal, 68, wife, mother, grandmother and business owner, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Dyke officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Paula Kay Aardal was born in Lubbock, Texas on May 7, 1953, to Donald Ray Joiner and Pauline Beth Hightower. She married Gary Aardal on August 18, 1975,

in Stephenville, Texas.

Paula was a member of the Cedar Point Baptist Church in Stephenville. In Paula’s early years of life she enjoyed sewing and teaching Sunday school classes at the Greens Creek Baptist Church in Stephenville.  

In recent years, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and exploring her ancestry. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bart Aardal in 1997, Joshua Aardal in 2013, and her born to father Donald Joiner and her parents Laverne Leonard and Pauline Beth Hightower.

Survivors include her husband Gary Aardal of Stephenville; son Colton and wife Tina Aardal of Stephenville; grandchildren Calista, Dylan, Nathan, Austin, Jade and Bryce, Kellin, Abbey, and Everett; brother Donnie and wife Peg Joiner of North Carolina, and sister Tammy and husband Danny Huffman of Stephenville.
