Robert Godwin Obituary
Robert Duane Godwin, 89, Professor at Tarleton State University, for 42 years, died on Friday September 6, 2019. He was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
Robert was born in Bern Kansas, on May 22, 1930, to Cleo and Roberta Godwin. He married Leonor Dania, on December 22, 1961, in El Paso, Texas.
Robert was a Mason, and an Air Force Pilot that served in the Korean Conflict.
Robert was survived by his wife, Leonor Godwin, of Stephenville, Texas; his son, Edward Godwin, of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Marcille Godwin, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter, Holly Stahnke, and husband, Kevin, of Hico, Texas; and five grandchildren, Rainey, Nathaniel, Phillip, Shade, and Magnolia.
