Robert Eugene Lyon

Robert Eugene Lyon, 89, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021.  Memorial Service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2021 at The First Baptist Church of Stephenville with Dr. Ken May officiating. Visitation: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church.

Robert was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 26, 1932, to Lewis and Pauline (Jackson) Lyon. He married Barbara (Waugh) Lyon on December 29, 1959, in Beckley, West Virginia. She preceded him in death on August 11, 2017.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville.

Robert is survived by his children, Donald E. Lyon and wife, Janet, of Hanwell, New Brunswick, Canada, Cindy Lyon, of Stephenville, Texas, Tim D. Lyon and wife, Debbie, of Hico, Texas; grandchildren, Jeremy Lyon, Adam Lyon, Meigan Banks, Tiffany Lyon, Chance Lyon, and Joey Lyon; great grandchildren, Kyson White, Dawngelia White, and Alethia Banks; and sister, Marilynn Powell of Naperville, Illinois.
